Architecture in the 20th century

Architecture in the 20th century. This work is presented in two volumes, packaged in a slipcase. The books are organized chronologically, starting with a short historical background from the late eighteenth and the nineteenth century, thus putting into perspective the development in architectural style during the twentieth century. Volume 1 spans the period from 1773-1941, and volume 2 from 1944-2004. The books contain work by the most significant architects of the last century, including Antoni Gaudí, Mies van der Rohe, Eero Saarinen and Tadao Ando. Includes a biographical appendix.
