Roger Scruton (1944-2020) var en britisk filosof, forfatter og konservativ tenker. Han var kjent for sitt arbeid innen estetikk, politisk teori og konservativ filosofi. Scruton skrev over 50 bøker om en rekke emner og var en kontroversiell skikkelse i offentlig debatt. Han ble ansett som en av Storbritannias fremste intellektuelle. Scruton døde i januar 2020 etter en kamp mot kreft.
